Granary Cottage

Guestbook

Fantastic warm cosy getaway with stunning views.Granary Cottage was immaculately clean and the perfect size for our mother and daughter getaway. Both bedrooms are en suite which gives that little extra luxury and isn’t often the case in 2 bedrooms properties. It’s in a remote location up beautiful winding roads but at the same time is only 10 minutes drive from the town of Llandrindod Wells which has all the facilities needed eg supermarkets, local shops, pharmacy, train station, library. In the cottage we arrived to the beds all made up and lovely plump towels in each bathroom. It’s been converted beautifully with visible beams and a large celiac window in the living room (which is upstairs). From here the views of the mountains, complete with sheep of course, are absolutely stunning. The owners are friendly and helpful but also won’t intrude on your stay at all, despite living in the farmhouse next door. Overall we had a fantastic time and we’re so happy we found this accommodation. We felt it was also magnificent value for money.

The Straw Cottage

"Our team was made to feel very welcome by Margot, stunning setting in the open countryside felt a million miles away from everything.  Lovely home-made cooking, wood burner and a beautiful beamed barn set the scene for a great team day. We will definitely use this venue again, the informal setting choice made a nice change from boardroom style. We shall be alright as long as the team doesn't get any bigger - maximum 25 people."  Wendy Moss, Practice Team Leader, Action for Children.
