Ty Gwyn Farm is a 130 acre organic sheep and cattle farm in the rolling hills of Radnorshire. The farm is in an environmental stewardship scheme whereby we maintain, improve and create habitats for wildlife.

The farm nestles into the hill facing south-west with panoramic views. Peaceful and quiet yet only 2.5 miles from the historic Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells.

 

 

 

 

 

 Granary Cottage is a comfortable and stylish self catering cottage. Graded 4 stars by the Welsh Tourist Board, it has two en-suite bedrooms. An ideal base from which to explore this hidden unspoilt area of Mid Wales or just to enjoy the clean air and open skies, watch the wildlife, walk, amble or just sit in the garden.

Wonderful walking and riding with access to miles of paths and tracks through fields and over the hills.

Ty Gwyn is the perfect place to bring your horse and dog. We have excellent facilities for horses.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Red kites, buzzards, foxes, hares and badgers are just some of the wildlife to be seen at Ty Gwyn.

Numerous sporting activities close by include golf, riding, clay pigeon shooting, a rally school and fishing.

Ty Gwyn is an ideal base for touring Mid Wales; Builth Wells, Hay on Wye and the Elan valley are all within easy reach. There are small market towns to discover, open gardens to visit and a variety of events to enjoy.
