Welcome to Ty Gwyn Farm

Holiday Cottage and Glamping in Llandrindod Wells, Mid Wales.

COVID-19 UPDATE

Our cottages are now open for visitors from Wales and for visitors from England from April 12.

For our guests safety and our own, both cottages undergo a strict cleaning and disinfecting regime, using a viruscidal disinfectant. We change all pillow and mattress protectors at every changeover, all books and other non-essentials have been removed.  We have also delayed arrival time to allow for the extra cleaning time – arrival time is now 4pm.  If you need to see further details of our Covid policy please contact us.

The Straw Cottage

The ultimate get away

The Straw Cottage is truly far from the madding crowd, an off grid straw bale cottage in an idyllic spot on the farm. Wake up to the sound of birdsong, go to sleep to the sound of Holly Brook, breakfast outside with just the meadow flowers and the hills for company. This is the romance of a bygone era with modern comfort.

Granary Cottage

The ultimate get away

Granary Cottage sits in the quiet courtyard of Ty Gwyn Farm surrounded by 130 acres of our farm. Ty Gwyn is in a truly beautiful location. Driving down the lane, the vast panorama of hills is spread out before you. Once here, you will have total peace and quiet, no other houses can be seen, the sky is dark at night and yet we are only 2.5 miles from the Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells. Within the town there are local food shops, supermarkets, a Victorian theatre, coffee shops, restaurants and garages. The 13 acre lake is a particular feature with a magnificent dragon fountain in the middle.
